Why become a member of the Estonian Screenwriters’ Guild?

The goal of the ESG is to promote professional screenwriting in Estonia. To achieve this, the Guild undertakes the following activities:

• we organise gatherings to communicate with people in our profession;
• we jointly protect the rights of screenwriters as authors;
• we offer screenwriters and editors opportunities for self-improvement;
• we offer each other support in developing projects (workshops, readings, camps);
• we communicate with colleagues from abroad;
• we offer support in finding professional work and developing a career;
• we communicate with other filmmakers to promote cooperation.

Also:

• if desired, a guild member will receive a personal e-mail address (name@stsenaristid.ee);
• ESG members have the right to use the abbreviation ESG next to their name in the credits.

Membership

ESG membership is open to screenwriters, script editors and writer-directors working in the audiovisual field who have a professional higher education or equivalent work experience. To become a member, please fill out the form below.

The board will notify the applicant within two weeks of making the decision.

The ESG membership fee is 25.00 euros per year.

The one-time entrance fee is 35.00 euros.

Upon admission, the membership fee for the current financial year is paid.

After admission, the membership fee is due on January 31st of each year.
