Among her works are the feature film \u201cBad Hair Friday\u201d (2013) and several series, among them\u00a0 ViaPlay\u2019s crime drama \u201cWho Shot Otto M\u00fcller\u201d (2022). She has written several comedy series such as \u201cThe Pillow Club\u201d, \u201cThe Taxi\u201d, \u201cStories by Krista\u201d as well crime series \u201cWicked Girls\u201d, \u201cRestart\u201d, \u201cThe Trap\u201d. She is the author of several acknowledged novels, among them \u201cMe, Mortimer\u201d (III place 2007 T\u00e4nap\u00e4ev\u2019s Youth Novel Competion), \u201cThe Ones Who Kill Themselves\u201d (II place 2009 T\u00e4nap\u00e4ev\u2019s\u00a0Youth Novel Competition) and \u201cMy Clawed Friend\u201d (III place 2009 Estonian Novel Competition). In addition to novels she has published a poetry collection titled \u201cMorbidarium\u201d and a ballad \u201cAlexander and Belle\u201d. Her short story \u201cLove\u201d was nominated for Tuglas price in 2010. She has also written several plays, among them \u201cFoxtrot\u201d (2013). In her daily life, Birk works as the Head of Marketing and Communications Department in Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).
